This video project started out as a way to document and more fully describe my glass pieces. Once I acquired some necessary skills and techniques I realized with additional considerations, these videos could and would take on a life of their own. The slow motion of the rotation, as well as the subtle dissolving transitions, bring time and atmosphere into the mix, enhancing the portraits in a way that can only be achieved through film or video. The accompanying soundscapes were constructed to create an audio depth of field and add another element of expression to the work.
